so ESPN has, for the second straight week, noticed that frat boys dress up and bring their sorority dates to the games, also dressed up. they at least had someone figure out that it was part of rush. they then, however, started making fun of the frat boys, how it's too hot to wear that kind of stuff. i always made fun of them, since lord knows I'd cause the second flood if I wore a suit to a Bama game.
i can't believe that fsu had to come back to tie the citadel at half. ridiculous.

I can't believe the commentators were just so oblivious and dumb. To criticize and humiliate anyone on national TV is just not the place of college football. AFV maybe, but they send in their own doom.
I just thought it was passe and negligent not to mention poor manners. All that from a CA boy, who, like you made fun of the frat boys when I was at UA, even though I am a frat boy myself (from my days at Emory before I arrived at UA).
Thanks for commenting for me, and giving me a space to vent. I wanted to email ESPN and complain to them but couldn't find the right person to email, plus I don't think they would give a whit.
Peace,
DC
they also said that those fans were drinking sweet tea!!! it just shows a complete lack of understanding of football culture in the south. very poor in my opinion for an espn commentator. (clearly, it is jack and coke in those cups)
p.s. milo's did not buy the jumbotron
p.p.s. where do these igits get off making fun of our fraternities and sororities? i bet the machine goes on an espn attack.
A
i hope the machine does go on an espn attack!!
this qualifies as one of those things that i am allowed to make fun of, but any outsider is definitely not!!
Peter, thanks for checking on the communion thing. :)
I agree, Laurel! Those two dolts calling the game for ESPN2 had obviously never been to the Deep South. Those damnyankees can keep their carpetbaggin' arses in Connecticut at the ESPN headquarters where they belong. I hope they never set foot in my fair state again.
I miss Keith Jackson.
