love quadrangle
Seattle Grace Hospital = UA Wesley Foundation West
It's kind of like the 6 degrees of Wesley separation (or 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon, whichever your taste), or the Wesley dating tree as it was once called. Although spider web is more like it.
Izzie is two degrees separated from George - she hooked up with Alex, Alex hooked up with the nurse chick who hooked up with George.
What caused this comment was that it is currently becoming circular rather than linear. George, who is in love with Meredith and had an awful night with her, had been dating Callie. Callie is evidently now hooking up with Mark (McSteamy), who had shacked up with Addison (Derek's wife). And Meredith decided that she is in fact in love with Derek.
So, anyway, it's getting pretty circular, which brought back some memories of our Wesley years.
